The Office of Livestock and Grazing (OEP) is a non-administrative public institution (EPNA) under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries. Established in 1966, it has the mission of contributing to the sustainable development of the livestock and grazing sectors in Tunisia.
The Office acts as a technical reference body for public authorities, livestock breeders, professional organizations and project sponsors. It contributes to the modernization of animal production sectors while supporting national agricultural development policies.

In the field of beekeeping, the OEP contributes to the sector's development by offering training, technical support and awareness-raising actions aimed at beekeepers and future professionals. The Office also helps to disseminate good beekeeping practices and supports initiatives that promote sustainable beekeeping in Tunisia.
The Office of Livestock and Grazing has a general directorate in Tunis as well as a network of regional directorates covering all Tunisian governorates. This organization enables it to provide on-the-ground support to professionals in the agricultural and livestock sectors.
